Our Adult Cardiologists in the Network

Dr Laurence O’Toole is an adult cardiologist based at Sheffield Northern Hospital. He runs regular clinics with Dr Helen Parry, an adult congenital cardiologist based at Leeds General Infirmary. Dr Helen Parry works 2 days a week at Sheffield to support the service there. A Cardiac Nurse Specialist, Angela attends the clinics too.
The cardiologists are supported by experienced sonographers who undertake the scans. Sheffield hospital also perform tests such as exercise tests, 24 hour tape recordings and cardiac MRI’s to prevent you travelling to Leeds.

Dr Matt Balerdi is an adult cardiologist based at Castle Hill hospital, Hull and runs a monthly clinic with Dr Kate English or Dr James Oliver based at Leeds General Infirmary. A Cardiac Nurse Specialist, Hannah attends these clinics.
