Paediatric Outpatient Appointments

The paediatric cardiology clinics throughout Yorkshire & Humber Network (including Leeds) continue to run at approximately 80% capacity due to social distancing in the waiting areas. The Consultants have their own waiting lists and are therefore ( with the help of their colleagues in the local hospitals) monitoring and prioritising which children need to be seen on time. As we have reduced appointment slots, then some appointments will be delayed for a few months as this is the only way we can manage the situation at the moment. In the meantime if you are worried about your child’s health or they develop any new symptoms please contact the cardiac nurse specialists at Leeds or your local paediatrician who will be able to advise you.
