At a recent Parent & Patient Reference Network meeting for the Congenital Heart Disease service, the following information was discussed. The group felt it was important that patients and parents in the Congenital Heart Disease service were informed:

Did you know: It costs….. £386.50 for each outpatient appointment in the congenital heart disease service?

Did you know…. 8.4% of patients did not attend their appointment last year?

If you cannot attend your appointment or are unable to bring your child to clinic, please let us know and cancel it. We will then be able to give this appointment to someone else who is on the waiting list to be seen.
